What are Safranim, Anyway?

Safran is the Hebrew word for "librarian," and Safranim is the plural form of the word. Since national AJL uses the name Hasafran ("The Librarian") for their listserv, we figured it would make sense to play off that theme. Plus, it makes a fun alliteration with "Sunshine State," our sunny state of Florida!
